The album moves through indie-pop and rock textures, house grooves, soulful harmony, electronic production, and rap-infused storytelling. Songs such as “Don’t Stop ’Til It’s Over,” “Try Harder,” “Why’d I Do This to Me,” “Fallen Out of Love,” and “Dance Til Destruction” turn personal experiences into a dramatic cycle of connection, collapse, survival, and renewal. I AM RAM (2020) is Ryan Marquez’s declaration of creative independence and the opening chapter of THE RAM ALBUM TRILOGY. The self-written and self-produced project marked the first album centered on Marquez’s own voice, introducing him not only as a pianist, composer, and producer, but as a singer, songwriter, and complete recording artist.
