ELEVENTH HOUR RADIO
Eleventh Hour Radio is an original musical written and composed by Ryan Marquez and Colin McLaughlin, produced by Action Arts Collaborative and directed by Kathryn Bentley. Premiered in April 2026, the work uses music, theater, humor, and radio-style storytelling to invite audiences into an urgent conversation about environmental justice, conservation, and the sustainability of Earth’s natural resources. At its center is a provocative question: What would you say if you had a microphone and the whole world could hear you? Marking Marquez’s first musical-theater score, Eleventh Hour Radio blends rap, soul, funk, pop, jazz, reggae, and R&B into a vibrant collection of original songs that propel the story while making complex environmental issues emotionally accessible. Through its memorable characters, dynamic live band, and audience-centered approach, the musical transforms ecological responsibility from an abstract concern into a shared human conversation about what we value, what we need, and what we are willing to protect.
